1/18/2012 – How to create a simple dynamic website using ASP.NET and SQL Server

The existing Tucson .NET User Group web site (tucsondotnet.org) is going to be replaced with a new simpler version.

In this meeting we’ll look at what’s been done so far to create the new version from scratch using visual studio and sql server.

After some discussion on goals, we’ll create a database and some tables in SQL server and then we’ll create and update a web site, and then we’ll tie the two together to display information on meetings, sponsors, and other related information that we’ll store in the database.

This is an introductory topic and the hope is that it will help you to get started with your own simple web sites.
